Built from local fundraising the Village Hall opened in 1958 and has been a popular venue for weddings, family functions, fundraising events and public meetings for the last 50 years. Located in the centre of the village, opposite the village green and close to the Parish Church, this hall is available for hire 6 days a week.


The Main Hall has a capacity for:

  • 120 guests standing / dancing
  • 80 theatre style
  • 96 around tables
  • Separate bar area
  • Tables and chairs provided
  • Available for Conferences and Seminars at weekends and during school holidays
  • Small Committee room available for hire (accommodates 20 people)
  • Rear parking facility
  • Drop off zone at main entrance with double doors for easy access.
  • A large well equipped kitchen with serving hatch opening to main hall.
  • Large stage with side and rear access, piano and lighting
  • Ladies, Gents and Disabled toilet facilities
  • Baby changing facilities
  • Fully heated throughout
  • Projection screen at front of stage

The Parish Council office is open Mon-Thurs 9.30am-11.30am for drop-ins. Appointments can however be made oustide of these hours.


Please note however that when the Clerk is on annual leave there is no cover so it is advised to ring the office before calling in. A note will be displayed on the door when the office is closed.
